Let's get real; I had a tough postpartum period. I struggled immensely with postpartum anxiety & depression. I fought hard, and finally came out of it and have found the joy in motherhood. I have my master's degree in nutrition, my sleep training certification, and my postpartum doula certification. My goal is to use my knowledge and experience to make postpartum and motherhood as a whole easier for mamas, through sleep training while keeping mama in mind!

ABOUT aLEXA
MARTINEZ

love, alexa

I heard the quote recently; "You are most qualified to help the person you used to be.” As soon as I heard that, I got a lump in my throat and I knew: my purpose in life is to ease the burden on mamas, bring them joy and encouragement, and equip them to the best of my abilities.

I approach sleep training differently than most. I make sure I am focusing on the family as a whole (especially mama) instead of just focusing on baby. When sleep training, of course a lot of my time and efforts go into creating a plan that works best for baby...but I don't let parents fall to the wayside! In a world that is seemingly all about baby now, I remind you that YOU matter too!!
